Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and us when you use neetcompanion.com. Please read section 4 in particular — it explains exactly what our predictions are and are not.

Effective from 5 August 2026 · Version 1.1

1. Who you are agreeing with

neetcompanion.com is owned and operated by Ammar Digital Services, a sole proprietorship, under the brand name NEET Companion. In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ammar Digital Services, and “you” refers to the person using the site.

By using this site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These Terms apply to neetcompanion.com and every page, tool and service on it.

2. Who may use this site

Anyone may use the free tools. Two conditions apply because of who our users are:

  • If you are under 18, please read these Terms together with a parent or lawful guardian, and ask them to submit any form on your behalf. See section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
  • Nobody under 18 may purchase credits in their own name. Under section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 a minor cannot form a binding contract, so a purchase made by a minor is not valid. A parent or lawful guardian must make the purchase and is the person contracting with us. A purchase made in breach of this is still final and non-refundable, like any other purchase under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. What we provide

Free, and available now — no account, no signup, no payment:

  • the rank-to-college predictor;
  • the marks-to-rank, percentile and college predictors;
  • the medical college directory and individual college pages;
  • the state explorer and state counselling guides;
  • a free “help with counselling” request form.

The free predictors show a limited number of matching colleges by name. The complete list, ordered for allotment, is part of the paid Choice-Filling Assistant. How much the free tools show may change at any time.

Paid, and available now — the Choice-Filling Assistant, which helps you build a counselling choice list. It is paid for with credits (see section 7). Its scope is All India Quota (AIQ) and Telangana state counselling, sold separately — buying one does not give you the other.

Nothing on this website charges you. The Assistant is a separate application at app.neetcompanion.com, which needs an account, and every action there shows its cost and your remaining balance before it spends anything.

4. Our predictions are guidance, not a guarantee

Please read this before relying on anything on this site

Our predictions are based on analysis of previous years' NEET AIQ counselling data and are intended as guidance only. We do not guarantee admission outcomes. Actual cutoffs and seat allotments may vary each year based on factors beyond historical trends. Always refer to official MCC notifications for final information.

Following from that:

  • We do not guarantee that you will get a seat, or any particular college, course or category of seat. Nothing on this site is an offer, assurance or prediction of admission.
  • We are not affiliated with any official body. We have no connection with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the National Testing Agency (NTA), the National Medical Commission (NMC), KNRUHS, any state counselling authority, or any medical college. Names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the institutions concerned.
  • We are not a counselling agency. We do not register you for counselling, submit choices on your behalf, represent you before any authority, or handle your documents.
  • Official notifications always win. Where anything on this site differs from an official MCC or NTA notification, the official notification is correct and you should follow it.

5. Where our data comes from, and its limits

Our predictions are built from:

  • Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) All India Quota counselling allotment records
  • Telangana KNRUHS NEET UG merit lists (which carry candidates' national NEET AIR and score)

Two limitations you should know about, because they affect how much weight to put on a result. First, closing ranks move every year with the number of candidates, paper difficulty and seat matrix changes, so a past cutoff is an indication and not a threshold. Second, our marks-to-rank curve is derived from a state merit list which carries candidates' national ranks; it is reliable across the common rank range but becomes progressively less reliable at very deep ranks, and we show a confidence indication where that applies.

We correct data when we find errors, but we cannot promise it is complete, current or free of error at any given moment.

6. Using the free tools

The free tools need no account. Predictions are calculated when you ask for them and are not stored against your identity. To keep the service available for everyone we apply a rate limit of 30 requests per minute to our API. We may change what is offered free of charge, but we will not start charging for something you are already using without telling you first.

7. Credits and the Pro Assistant

The Choice-Filling Assistant works on prepaid credits:

  • Your first purchase is a pack: ₹149 for 50 credits. That works out to about ₹3 per credit. ₹149 is an introductory price; the standard price for the same 50 credits is 249 (about ₹5 per credit), and we will say so clearly before it changes.
  • After that you may top up any amount from ₹60, at ₹3 per credit. You choose the amount; we do not sell fixed tiers. Credits are granted as whole credits, so an amount that does not divide exactly is rounded down to the nearest credit. If you hold access to a state-counselling product the minimum top-up is ₹180, because state actions cost more credits and a smaller top-up would not buy a usable amount.
  • Telangana state counselling is a separate product, priced at ₹499. That single payment gives you access to it and 200 credits together — a Telangana list costs 10 credits. Access does not carry across. Buying the All India product does not open Telangana, and buying Telangana does not open All India. Your credits are a single balance usable on whichever products you have bought.
  • Both together cost ₹599, with 250 credits. That offer is for accounts that hold neither product yet. If you already own one, adding the other costs less than the bundle does — 99 for All India if you hold a state product, and a reduced price for Telangana if you hold All India — and we will quote you that lower price rather than the bundle. You are never charged more than the price shown before you pay.
  • Prepaid top-ups only. There is no subscription, no monthly plan and no automatic renewal. We will never charge you on a recurring basis.
  • Every action has a fixed price in credits. Building a list, saving it and downloading it are separate, separately-priced actions, so what a finished list costs you depends on which of them you use — not on anything we decide after the fact. The price of each action and your remaining balance are shown before you spend anything, and no action is ever charged twice.
  • Credits are usable only for NEET Companion services. They are not transferable to anyone else and are not redeemable for cash. They are a prepayment for our own services and nothing else — they are not a wallet, not a payment instrument, and cannot be used anywhere but here.
  • The predictors, directory and state explorer remain free. Credits are only ever consumed by the Assistant.

Refunds, expiry and cancellation are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Payments, prices and taxes

Payments are processed by a regulated payment aggregator. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. A receipt is issued to the email address used at the time of payment.

Ammar Digital Services is not currently registered for GST, being below the registration threshold, and therefore does not charge GST. If that changes, prices and receipts will be updated to show the tax and our registration number.

9. Things you must not do

  • Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or query our API automatically.
  • Work around the rate limit, the reCAPTCHA, or any other technical protection.
  • Resell, republish or redistribute our predictions, cutoff tables or college directory.
  • Present yourself as NEET Companion, or use the site to hold yourself out as a counselling authority or an agent of one.
  • Submit anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.

10. What you send us

You are responsible for what you submit through our forms. Two specific rules:

  • Do not submit anyone else's personal data in a free-text message, and do not send us identity documents, marksheets or certificates. We do not want them and we do not accept them.
  • If you contribute counselling data as a volunteer, you confirm you are entitled to share it, and you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, adapt and publish it as part of the service. We may credit contributors; we are not obliged to.

11. Intellectual property

The site design, code, prediction models, the cleaned and standardised institute dataset, the curated college profiles and FAQs, and the compiled closing-rank tables are ours or licensed to us. Underlying counselling results are factual and public, but our compilation and standardisation of them is protected. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and may share links to it freely.

12. Third-party services and links

The site loads Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads tags, Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare, and is hosted on Railway. See our Privacy Policy for what each one does.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

We link to official sites such as MCC and NTA for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

13. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. This is a small, independently run service, and it may be unavailable for maintenance or during heavy counselling-season load. We may add, change or withdraw features. If the paid Assistant is unavailable while you hold a credit balance, our Refund Policy tells you what you are entitled to.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law permits, we make no warranty that the content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for deciding which college or course to choose.

Your consumer rights are not affected

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the site is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. For anyone using the free tools, that amount is nil.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and specifically not for the loss of a seat, a counselling round, or an academic year, or for any decision you make on the basis of a prediction. The choices you submit in official counselling are yours, and you should verify them against official sources before you submit them.

Again, this does not affect rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these Terms, your submission of someone else's personal data, or your breach of the rules of any counselling authority.

17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or withdraw access if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in payment fraud. If we terminate your access without cause, we will refund any unused credit balance in full. Unused credits are forfeited only where we have established abuse or fraud.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

  • Talk to us first. Please raise any dispute with our Grievance Officer (section 19). We will acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days. Most things are settled this way.
  • Jurisdiction. Subject to the next point, the courts at Hyderabad, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • Your consumer rights are preserved. Nothing here limits your right under section 34(2)(d) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to approach the District or State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission where you reside or work, including online through the e-Daakhil portal.

We do not require you to go to arbitration. You keep every remedy the consumer law gives you.

19. Grievance Officer and how to contact us

If you have a question, a complaint, or a request about your personal data, write to us and we will deal with it. You do not need to use any particular form of words.
